What can I say about Dow and the Dow Kennedy Team? They took a married couple from Illinois, who were in a tight spot, scared with the mantra "just get a roof over our heads...near Austin TX" and got us the most beautiful home in the perfect area and all around just blew us away. When others left while we got my credit lined up Dow stayed in touch on a regular basis making sure we were ok, seeing if we needed to change our search criteria and the like. When it was time to make an offer, he was conscious of our budget and helped get us a deal we could afford. We very easily could have been taken advantage of. I have a highly tuned radar for sharks and bad deals and never did I even consider Dow or Igna to be even capable of knowingly steering us wrong. That was the best part of dealing with the Dow team. It's that old kind of honesty you just feel I guess. I'm sure that's the main reason we latched onto them from the start. Once we initiated the contract we were in the good hands of Inga Kennedy who helped us through the process of closing,. This was our first home and we needed a lot of handholding. Igna was happy to do so and I felt she was actually excited to be able to share expertise which to me is a sign of someone truly enjoying what they do. Igna mapped out a time table and made sure we had everything lined up to be completed ahead of schedule, returned emails usually within hours if not minutes and was very knowledgable. Part of our plight was time. Dow was conscious of the situation and was able to get a lender and the lister to agree on a 3 week closing time table that went without a hitch. Keep in mind that's also with amending the contract to have the seller get some minor repairs done and more toward our closing! So now here we are a month after submitting an offer and been in our beautiful home a week and things couldn't be better. We live 25-30 minutes from all of the greater Austin area, Austin, Pflugerville, Round Rock, etc. but in the small town atmosphere that we always dreamed of. In a perfect home with NO CARPET! (We have many pets, do foster and rehab from time to time so carpet is bad news!). I look out of my office window each day this week while working and see the most beautiful view imaginable.
